Red Tomato Clownfish, Amphiprion frenatus (pairs)

The Red Tomato Clownfish juveniles have multiple white bands, and black pectoral fins, that gradually disappear as the fish matures. It has also been known to use coral as a host in the absence of an anemone.

The Red Tomato Clownfish females will be the largest of the pair, and two fish will usually stay close to each other in the aquarium.

The Red Tomato Clownfish do well in an aquarium containing almost any anemone type, In nature they are found to host Bubble Tip Anemones and Pizza Anemones.

An aggressive eater, the Red Tomato Clownfish will consume most meaty foods and herbivore preparations.
