The Emperor Snapper (Lutjanus sebae), a captivating addition with its vibrant colors and striking appearance. This species, scientifically known as Lutjanus sebae, is commonly referred to as red emperor, emperor red snapper, emperor snapper, government bream, king snapper, queenfish, or red kelp.
Native to the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific Ocean, this marine ray-finned fish belongs to the family Lutjanidae. It is reef safe, ensuring a harmonious coexistence with other marine life. However, it is important to note that it is not invert safe, so caution is advised if you have invertebrates in your tank.
In terms of compatibility, it gets along well with larger fish in a community setup. Its relaxed temperament makes it a great addition to a fish-only community
