Chaetodon citrinellus, Speckled Butterflyfish

The Speckled Butterflyfish (Chaetodon citrinellus) is a graceful fish with a creamwhite to yellow base color. They are seldomly available in the aquarium trade. They are a relatively peaceful addition to a fish tank and usually get along well with other tankmates. Caution should be taken as butterflyfish cannot be considred reef safe, and coral and other invertebrates may be damaged - on a positive note, undesireables like Aiptasia and bristleworms are also often preyed on.
